Project Description

Some people would try to get their hands on the cheapest resale property unit so to save some bucks for renovation. This is possible if you have an idea of what you want to do with your property.

Most looked at hacking walls and/or building new walls to create new space, while others prefer to keep it as it is. This is one example where the bath and the water closet space is being separated and it remained so after renovation. It was interesting for the client to keep it the way it originally is, except that the whole place has been cleaned up, painted, rewired and replumbed.

Plumbing for the kitchen and toilet area is pretty extensive as new pipings have to be installed. Most things have aged and would deteriorate further if they were not replaced.

By replacing all the pipes, it would last the new owner another few decades despite that the unit is old.

For this project, all pipes have also been painted with black oil-based paint to not only create a classic theme against the white background but also helped in preventing moisture trapped on or inbetween the joints of the pipes. Painting the pipes can prevent mould from forming on top of it too.
