Project Description

This unit came to us with electrical wiring mostly exposed and not properly wired. The walls are mouldy, black if not dull for the coloured walls.
Lightings left by the previous owner were mostly very old and rusty chandeliers.
The original doors looked decent but are mouldy and dirty too.

At a decent price, we offered to revamp the whole area by rewiring the whole house and provide new, modern sockets, light switches and ceiling lights.

Trunkings to conceal the previously exposed wires and removal of unused old wires to reduce the size and number of trunkings running along the corners of the wall, such as unused telephone and TV cables.
Usually old HDB flats have these cables and sockets or points preinstalled. Some would like to keep them for reminiscing nostalgia times, but others would prefer to have more wall space by removing them.

We removed existing dirty peeling wall paint before starting any paint works.
We utilised good quality oil-based sealer and anti-mould coloured paint of client’s choice for all walls. Trunkings that were installed were also painted over to camouflage them.

Grey featured wall was painted at the living room to match the grey toned floor. While warmer colours were used for the other rooms. Not all sides of walls are painted with coloured paint as it would make the room appear smaller.

Hence keeping at least 1 side of the wall at a shade of white or equivalent is best, so as to make the room look bigger than usual.

We also amped up the room doors by using a beautiful ivory oil-based paint to make it pop against the matte walls.

With all these done, the whole house looks clean, sleek and appear bigger in size due to more wall space visually and light colours used on the walls instead of bright bold colours all over.
