Volunteers needed for Howdycares Upcyc-A-Masterpiece!
In support of Adopt-A-Repair initiative.

 

We are thrilled to introduce you to Howdycares upcycling initiative! Our team is dedicated to promoting environmental sustainability, conserving resources, and giving back to the community.

Every day, through our various reinstatement & renovation projects, we see many good items being thrown away. Occasionally we find quality pieces of furniture that still look good but are unwanted because they have lost their purpose, appear worn out, and look “old & unattractive” (outdated). These items are actually the real deal and mass-produced goods can never match up. So we did not just sit idly by – we took action.

We adopted the pieces and try our best to recondition, restore and repurpose them, giving them a new life as beautiful and unique masterpieces. Our mission is more than just creating beautiful upcycled items.

We want to make a positive impact on our planet and community that needed more help. That is why we reinvest the proceeds from the upcycled items back into our Adopt-A-Repair initiative for the underprivileged, which is what Howdyman does best – home fixing and repair works.

What can you do to help, you say? Many! We are currently looking for:

 

======== DIY VOLUNTEERS / HANDY HEROS ========

1. Looking at working on upcycling by reconditioning, restoring or repurposing the goods brought back by Howdyman from renovation sites. Materials/Tools/Space can be provided by Howdyman company Sales Proceeds go to the Howdycares Adopt-A-Repair initiative

2. Looking for handyman/handywomen/ DIY Enthusiast to do simple repair works under the Adopt-A-Repair initiative for the needy or beneficiaries cared for by charity organisations

 

========= DONORS =========

1. Looking at providing support for purchases of materials and tools for upcycling furniture

2. Purchase or provide donations to parts and materials purchased to repair works for the underprivileged or beneficiaries cared for by charity organisations

 

========= VOLUNTEERS ========

1. Volunteers to provide support and coordinate logistics for event & activity organising. Gather volunteers for workshops/ events/ repair activities

2.
