In these conditions, the ”Client” refers to the party who accepts the quotation in exchange for goods and services provided by the “Company”, Howdyman Pte Ltd.
- The quantity, quality and description of and any specification shall be those set out in the quotation above.
- If accepted, the Client should give an acknowledgment upon the quote confirmation via either physically/ electronically signing the quotation or typing an intention through an electronic communication platform and make the down payment within given time. Failure to provide down payment will result in the quotation being invalid.
- Corporate Clients to provide the Purchase Order (P.O.) upon confirmation.
- The Client is obligated to allow us to carry out the works without any disruption or hindrance.
- Additional charges apply for works after office hours, weekends and public holidays.
- This quote does not include P.E./ L.E.W/ L.P. submissions unless otherwise stated.
- All utilities are borne by the client during the course of work.
- The Company reserves the right terminate work if the Client fails to make payment and/or disrupts the course of work.
- While every reasonable endeavour will be made by the Company to safeguard the premises, the Company shall not be held liable for any damages or lost of non-fixtures and valuable items left behind by the Client in and around the premises during the course of work.
- The Company shall not be liable for any failure or delay if such are due to circumstances beyond the control of the party. Such circumstances include but are not limited to, power disruption, fire, government actions, shortage of labour and/or supplies, acts of God, and other natural disasters.
- The Company will provide workmanship warranty;
11a. For Handyworks: up to 60 days after completion
11b. For Renovation: up to 12 months after completion - Any additional Works or variation of Works that are requested during work progress may incur additional charges that are not in the price reflected above (the “Agreed Price”) and you will be liable to pay for these additional charges (if any).
Payment:
Renovation – 10% upon the signing of this agreement, 40% before the commencement of the Works, 40% upon final measurements, 10% upon the completion of the Works.
Project – 50% upon the signing of this agreement, 50% upon the completion of the Works.
Handywork – 100% payment upon completion.
Payment Terms:
C.O.D – Cash on Delivery, applicable to all invoices unless stated otherwise.
Net 7 – Payment seven days after invoice date, applicable to corporate companies only.
Any late payment will incur an interest of 1% per calendar month of the remaining sum starting from invoice due date.
Cancellation:
Should the project be cancelled after confirmation of quote, Client agrees to settle all cancellation fees imposed by the Company and any third party suppliers.
- 30 days before work commencement: 50% of total agreed price
- 7 days before work commencement: 70% of total agreed price
- After work commencement: 100% of total agreed price
